Welcome to the Concord Dog Training Club, Inc., a member of the American Kennel Club.

The Concord Dog Training Club, Inc., founded in 1948 offers the local community an affordable place to train their dogs while having lots of fun. If what you want is a well behaved family companion, our Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience Classes will help you get a good foundation. Our competition classes for breed, obedience and tracking will show you the fantastic world of dog sports.

We offer a comprehensive network of information about dog events through our newsletter and bulletin board. In addition to teaching you to train your dog, the CDTC offers many volunteer opportunities such as stewarding at our shows (a great way to become comfortable in the ring, and observe top competitive handlers), helping with our Tracking Tests and assisting with our Canine Good Citizen events. Because of the very active volunteers and executive board, each year we hold two AKC licensed obedience trials, a Tracking Dog Test and a Tracking Dog Excellent Test. In the fall, we hold our Annual Dinner Meeting, during which officers are elected and awards are presented to those Club members who have received titles.
